Catherine Leyshon has been teaching English for over 25 years in a range of settings, including private and state schools in Japan, Germany, India, the UK and Australia, as well as nursing homes in the UK. She also taught Modern Foreign Languages in secondary schools and worked as an examiner for 10 years. Catherine holds a degree in French and German, an MA in TESOL (Teaching English to Speaker of Other Languages), A Post-Graduate Certificate of Education (PGCE) and a Diploma in English Language Teaching to Adults (DELTA).

More recently, she has co-authored OET Preparation Nursing, with Gurleen  Khaira and Virginia Allum and a teacher-training workshop and workbook for OET. She completed the Premium Preparation Provider training single handedly and now works as a consultant for OET.
